Business Card
This is the front of the business
This is my final design (front) I think it went well as it has contrasting fonts which make the card look better as it looks more diverse, i used the colours red and black because they contrast because it is a bright colour contrasting against a dark colour.
This is the back of my business card
This is my final design (back) I think it went well as i have stuck to the same colour scheme, as they contrast, and i used the same contrasting fonts, i also added a curve down the middle and set one side to grey to create this wave of grey.
This was the final stage on the computer of my buisness card which was printing it off, to do this i had to save my .psd file as a .jpeg photo and open it in 'preview' and the go 'file' print and then select 2 sided and then print it.
At this stage i had to duplicate the buisness card to fit each box so i made multiple copies of my buisness card i had to do this with the front and back of the buisness card.
This is my buisness card about 3/4 of the way through what i had done up to this point is create the object behind the 'HGZY' text layer, which is a vector layer which i created with the 'pen tool' by creates a circle with no middle and adding little triangles and then putting them in place and then merging them together, and then duplicated this layer to create a 3d shadow effect, and on the back page i had created a Facebook Logo and a twitter logo and made these the same colour as the object.

At this stage i had only done the back off the buisness card as you can see it was incompleate at this stage it was still missing the phone number and the drop text on the 'Facebook logo and name' at this point I had created a grey part of the card i did this by using the 'pen tool' and selecting the top location and click the bottem and draged it down to curve it then i went round the one side of the buisness card and made a selection as a new layer and coloured it with the 'paint bucket tool'
To change the colour of the text that i was using inside the vector, i went on the 'character' window and clicked colour and changed the colour to red.
Then i used the pen tool to create a triangle which would be the spikes on the side of the vector shape, then i filled it in with the pen tool on a separate layer because if i did it on the same layer it left a gap between the vector and the spike so i did it on another layer and then merged the layers together.
Then i used the pen tool to create a box which i would use to cut out the bottom of the ring, so it looked like the end of a grapple hook, at this stage i had to go back as the sides were not even so i had to do it again this time i used the ruler tool to get it exacted.
Then i used the marquee tool again but this time i used it to take out the inside of a circle and creating a ring, which i was going to use to create the back of my logo
I created my Vector shape by using the Marquee tool and making a circle i filled the circle in using the paint bucket tool to fill it in black, and this created my base circle.
This is my sketch business card design.
The image below is what I drew to plan for my business card i tried to stick to my sketch design when i was creating the actual product.
